Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is reinforcing its bus fleet with new reinforcements to provide citizens with a safe and comfortable transportation opportunity, while also providing a modern appearance to bus stops. In this context, a new and modern 14-meter-long covered stop was built in Izmit Millet Garden.
STOPS ARE TURNING TO A MODERN CONCEPT
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which increases the quality of transportation every day for citizens to travel safely and peacefully, is redesigning bus stops in accordance with the vision of “Happy City Kocaeli”. In this context, teams affiliated to the Department of Transportation are bringing modern-looking bus stops with LED lighting systems to the city within the scope of the work they have initiated on many routes.
INFORMATION SYSTEM AND CHARGING UNITS
The 14-meter-long modern stop, built by the Department of Transportation, has a passenger information screen and LED lighting system. There are also free charging units next to the seating benches.
