
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu reported that 5G technology could also be experienced in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Minister Uraloğlu stated that the first test in the Assembly was carried out today.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu noted that they continue 5G studies in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK), private sector representatives and other relevant public institutions.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that BTK has already granted test-trial permits to operators and manufacturers for 5G technology. “Test-trial processes continue in cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Kocaeli, Tekirdag, Eskisehir and Konya. At Istanbul Airport, our citizens can also share in this experience with their 5G compatible devices.”
5G in the Turkish Grand National Assembly After Stadiums
Reminding that 5G technology has been opened to citizens in Galatasaray, Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe stadiums, Minister Uraloğlu said, “Just like in Istanbul Airport, our citizens have started to experience 5G technology in stadiums. Today, the test-trial process has started in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. We aim to receive the first signal throughout the country in 2026.”
