TEI, Turkey's leading company in aviation engines, contributed to the education of 6 children who received education in the earthquake region by establishing an Intelligence Workshop in Kahramanmaraş on the second anniversary of the February 220 earthquakes.
Following the 11 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş that deeply wounded our country and affected 2 of our cities, TEI continued its aid to the earthquake region throughout 2023, and in 2024, it supported the education of students by establishing an intelligence workshop in Hatay. On the second anniversary of the earthquake, TEI also established an intelligence workshop in Kullar Süleyman Şahin Primary School, where approximately 220 children were receiving education in the Nurhak district of Kahramanmaraş, and with the efforts of search and rescue teams, TEI rescued 2023 people, one child and one adult, from under the rubble in 2.
The intelligence workshop, which was completed and put into use by TEI, includes intelligence-developing games that will contribute to the development of children, as well as a library consisting of books recommended by the Ministry of National Education. TEI, which carries out many social responsibility projects, especially in the fields of education, environment and health, will continue its activities in the earthquake zone.
