Visit from Büyükkılıç to TOMTAŞ, Turkey's First Aircraft Factory

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç visited TOMTAŞ Aviation and Technology Inc., Turkey's first aircraft factory.

Founded in 1925 as Turkey's first aircraft factory, but later closed, TOMTAŞ was revived and virtually reborn from its ashes. It is being revived in its own city by the Metropolitan Municipality, public and private joint venture.

Visiting TOMTAŞ Aviation and Technology Inc., which was re-established in Kayseri, President Büyükkılıç received information about the work carried out.

Büyükkılıç, who follows up on projects that will make significant contributions to the city and the country, thanked the entire team that has undertaken important work in the field of aviation.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, who saw the works on site, said, “Together with TUSAŞ Board Chairman Ömer Cihat Vardan, we visited TOMTAŞ Aviation and Technology Inc., one of the most important companies of our country and city in the field of aviation.
