The Turkey School Sports Youth Kickboxing Championship, held in Ordu on February 13-16, has been completed. Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Athlete İkra Gürpınar became the Turkish Champion in the Kick Light branch of the Young Women (A) category at 70 kg.
Hosted by Ordu, Kickboxing Youth (High School) Turkey Championship was held between 13-16 February 2025 at Başpehlivan Recep Kara Indoor Sports Hall in Ordu Altınordu with the cooperation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports School Sports Department, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Turkish Kickboxing Federation Presidency, Ordu Governorship and Ordu Metropolitan Municipality.
The championship, which was held with the participation of 72 athletes, 1.200 coaches, 150 referees, administrators and parents from 45 provinces, was a scene of great excitement.
İKRA GÜRPINAR BECAME THE TURKISH CHAMPION
In the championship held, İkra Gürpınar, an athlete from Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, became the Turkish champion. Gürpınar became the Turkish Champion by defeating her opponent in the 70 kg final match in the Kick Light branch of the Young Women (A) category.
