With the ongoing work in a comprehensive manner, traffic flow in the region will be eased in line with the modern urbanism vision and comfortable transportation will be provided to drivers.
CONTINUES AT FULL SPEED
Within the scope of the works initiated by the Metropolitan Municipality Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Department, 780 meters of road work is being carried out to make traffic safer and more comfortable on Hayri Macar Street located in the Gebze TÜBİTAK Valley, connecting Dr. Zeki Acar and Barış Streets. The works that will improve traffic flow continue at full speed.
WHAT IS BEING DONE ON THE STREET?
On Hayri Macar Street, 3 tons of asphalt is being poured as part of the superstructure work, reinforcing the infrastructure of the road. In addition, 100 meters of curb and 3 square meters of paving will be laid, creating a safer and more aesthetic area for pedestrians. 5 meters of 450-gauge concrete pipes were laid to drain rainwater. A 600-meter culvert was built at the crossing point to provide passage over the stream. With the completion of the work, the traffic flow in the area will ease and drivers will be offered a more comfortable journey.
