The authorities of Yüksel Proje A.Ş., the contractor of the Light Rail Transportation System route study and implementation projects, and the teams of the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure have reached the final stage of their rapidly ongoing field work. The delegation consisting of the General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments Urban Rail Systems Project Department Head Ahmet Tunçsoy and his team, Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Advisor Mustafa Yaylalı, Deputy Secretary General Erdoğan Beder and Transportation Department Head Fatih Bayraktar toured the route and consulted on the prepared plan. An agreement was reached on the determined stops, level crossing points and areas where underground crossings will be made. The final state of the Karadeniz Technical University stop will be finalized with the approval of the KTÜ administration. It was reported that the project, which will be completed in a short time, will be submitted to the approval of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
