The area where the trade center and 2-storey underground parking lot will be located will be the new center of attraction of Ordu. The urban transformation project, known as the old Çarşamba Market in Altınordu district and prepared as Millet Düzü, is aimed to be put out to tender in a short time and brought to Ordu.
Stating that Millet Düzü is the memory of Ordu, Ordu Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler stated that Ordu will gain a special attraction area with the arrangements to be made in the region.
2 STOREY PARKING LOT FOR 241 VEHICLES
The project, which will serve as a trade center and a 2-storey underground car park, was designed in a modern way with an exterior design that is compatible with the historical buildings in the surrounding area.
Within the scope of the project designed on an area of 5 square meters, 700 restaurant building, 1 shops and 43 offices will be built. The project, which has a 14-storey underground parking lot with a capacity of 2 vehicles, will be offered to the service of citizens as a square.
SCALE TO THE PARKING PROBLEM IN THE CITY
On the other hand, under the leadership of Mayor Güler, efforts are underway to build a modern city that will solve the parking problem in Ordu. In this context, a 19-vehicle Millet Bahçesi Parking Lot in the area where the 2000 Eylül Stadium was demolished, a 2-storey 500-vehicle parking lot in the Old Bus Station area, and a 2-storey 500-vehicle parking lot in Park Melet, totaling 3000 vehicles, will be built.
