The Camping and Caravan Festival, organized in cooperation with Orhangazi Municipality and Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion Association, brought together nature and camping enthusiasts at Çamlık Picnic Area.
Throughout the festival, nature lovers took part in activities such as morning exercise, nature walks, oral history narrations, local delicacies, DJ performances and open-air night cinema.
Making a statement about the festival, Orhangazi Mayor Bekir Aydın drew attention to the importance they attach to camping and caravan tourism and said:
“Orhangazi is a unique route for campers with its nature and historical texture. Camping and caravan tourism is attracting more and more attention every year and we aim to make our district a center of attraction in this area. Our natural wonder areas such as Çamlık Picnic Area offer a perfect environment for camping enthusiasts. With these events, we both encourage nature-friendly tourism and contribute to our district economically and socially. We always welcome camping enthusiasts to Orhangazi.”
