The construction of the İzmit Tennis Center, which Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality started on an area of 11 square meters and consists of 305 tennis courts, has been completed. Supporting every branch of sports and working with the aim of becoming the 'Capital of Sports', Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has completed the construction of the İzmit Tennis Center, which includes 14 tennis courts on an area of 11 square meters.
WORLD STANDARD, MODERN FACILITY
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has added a new one to its important works in the field of sports for the city. The area operated by İzmit Tennis Club in Kocaeli Fairground was demolished due to İzmit National Garden works, and the construction of the new facilities was started on the 11 square meter land located on İzmit Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard, next to the Lastik İş Social Facilities. The construction of the world-class tennis center, which was started in the area in question, was completed and a modern facility was brought to the region.
KOCAELI'S MOST COMPREHENSIVE TENNIS CENTER
The new facilities, which were built by the Metropolitan Municipality Technical Affairs Department and are one of the most comprehensive tennis centers in Kocaeli, have a total of 6 tennis courts, including 4 balloon tennis courts, 4 open clay courts and 14 indoor courts. The social facility also includes a cafe, kitchen, dining hall, meeting room, 2 offices, fitness area, 2 event rooms, 6 guest rooms, men's and women's locker rooms and shower cabins.
