WE VERY IMPORTANTLY TAKE CARE OF THIS ROAD

We attach great importance not only to transportation but also to the development of our Araklı district. The works started during the term of our Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu. The 52-kilometer section was designed to be built in stages. The 7-kilometer section was completed as a dual carriageway. Now, the works on the 10-kilometer section are continuing rapidly. We will meet with our Minister of Transportation to include the remaining section in investment programs and build it in stages. We want to finish this road. I would like to thank our Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure and the son of our city Abdulkadir Uraloğlu very much. He never turned us down. I would like to thank our Regional Director of Highways Mehmet Aşık, the owner of the contractor company Mustafa Özderya, our architects, engineers and all our colleagues and wish them good work. “May it bring good luck to our region, Trabzon and Araklı,” he said.
65 YEARS OF LONGING WILL END
Araklı Mayor Hüseyin Avni Coşkun Çebi, who stated that 2 tunnels, 1 bridge, engineering structures and avalanche tunnels will be built within the scope of ongoing works, said, “This project is our most vital and important project. The Araklı-Bayburt road is a road of trouble, we will end the 65-year longing by turning this into a road of happiness and abundance. I would like to thank our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç on behalf of my district for their support.” Mayor Genç later met with citizens in the Yolgören Neighborhood of Araklı and chatted for a while.
