Izmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ General Directorate will organize two separate Midilli Voyages for the 19 May Youth and Sports Day and Eid al-Adha. Tickets for the voyages departing from Izmir Port on 17 May and 6 June are on sale.
Within the scope of the İzmir-Midilli ship tours, which were launched in June 2022 with the aim of strengthening friendship, social, cultural and economic ties between the two sides of the Aegean, two special voyages will be organized this year. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İZDENİZ General Directorate's special voyages for May 19 Youth and Sports Day and Eid al-Adha will be organized on Saturday, May 17 and Friday, June 6.
Comfortable and fast journey
The trips to be carried out with the high-speed and comfortable catamaran type passenger ship İhsan Alyanak will be made between İzmir Alsancak Port and Midilli Port. The journey between the two ports, which are 59 nautical miles apart, takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on weather and sea conditions.
Ticket sales have started
Tickets for the trip can be purchased online via bilet.izdeniz.com.tr and from the İZDENİZ sales office located at Üçkuyular Pier. Ticket and door visa payments can be made by bank transfer or bank and credit cards. No cash fee is charged. Ticket prices are determined according to age groups as round-trip and one-way: 85 Euros for adults round-trip / 60 Euros one-way, 7 Euros for the 12-42,5 age group round-trip / 30 Euros one-way, 0 Euros for the 6-15 age group round-trip / 15 Euros one-way.
Bicycles can also be taken
The bicycle capacity of the İhsan Alyanak Cruise Ship is 10. Passengers who wish to can join the İzmir – Midilli trips with their bicycles, provided that they notify during the ticket reservation. Regular flights will start on June 20
Regular trips on the Izmir-Midilli tours organized by İZDENİZ General Directorate for three years in the summer season will be carried out between June 20 and September 26. The ship, which will depart from Izmir on Friday mornings, will return from Midilli on Sunday evenings.
Visa convenience at the door from İZDENİZ
Citizens with green passports will be able to enter Lesbos Island without a visa, citizens with burgundy passports will be able to enter with a Schengen or visa on arrival. İZDENİZ AŞ will also facilitate the procedures of passengers with visa on arrival. Passengers who want to travel with visa on arrival must call the İZDENİZ Sales Office at “0552 035 88 60” and make an appointment before applying due to the mandatory number of limitations determined for each journey. All requested documents of passengers who will apply for visa on arrival must be submitted to the İZDENİZ Sales Office in full and at least 10 days before the date of crossing to Lesbos Island. Passengers who have completed their application documents in full must personally deliver the visa on arrival fee of 80 Euros per person to the İZDENİZ Sales Office located at Üçkuyular Ferry Terminal- Balçova İzmir between 09.00:17.00 and 0:18 on weekdays. The same documents are valid for children aged 20-6 and the visa fee will be 7 Euros per person. The visa on arrival can be granted for a maximum of XNUMX nights, XNUMX days and single entry. The visa on arrival is only valid on the island where the ticket was purchased and cannot be used to travel to another island with the same visa.
