STM's Tactical Mini UAV Systems Make Their Mark at the Winter Exercise

Tactical mini UAV systems, developed by STM with national resources and added to the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, were actively used successfully in Winter Exercise 2025.

STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trading Inc., which has created advanced and national systems in the Turkish defense industry, continues to strengthen the Turkish Armed Forces with its national technologies.

The international Winter Exercise-2025, conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces in Kars, was successfully completed. STM's tactical mini UAV systems, which took part in the exercise, also hit the designated targets with full accuracy.

Turkey’s first national strike UAV KARGU, which has been actively used by the Turkish Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism, cross-border and special operations since 2018, hit multiple targets with pinpoint accuracy in the attacks it carried out in the Winter Exercise. KARGU, which received full marks in the exercise, is included in the inventories of more than 10 countries on three different continents.

The national scout UAV TOGAN, which entered the TAF inventory in 2022 and was exported to two African countries, was also used in reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence missions in the exercise.

Another national technology in the TAF inventory that has also achieved export success, the ammunition-dropping UAV BOYGA, hit the designated targets with pinpoint precision using 81 mm mortar ammunition.

The Through-the-Wall Radar (DAR) system, which has recently been added to the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces, also took its place in the search and rescue operations of the exercise by the personnel of the TSK Natural Disasters Search and Rescue Battalion Command (DAK).

In the defense industry exhibition area set up in the exercise area, Land Forces Commander Gen. Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and many local and foreign military delegations visited the STM stand.
