Syria's interim Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shaibani announced at a conference in the United Arab Emirates that a new government is expected to be formed in Syria in early March.
Al-Shaibani said the new government should reflect the diversity of the Syrian people, which includes many religious groups and ethnic minorities.
The new government in Syria, which took office after the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad in December, is now trying to gain the trust of the international community and secure the lifting of economic sanctions against Syria.
The country's interim president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, has promised to respect the rights of minorities in the country, but there is widespread suspicion of his government given that it was founded by an Islamist rebel movement that once broke away from al-Qaeda.
