Torbalı will have a cleaner environment

Stating that Ayrancılar-Yazıbaşı Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant treats the domestic wastewater of Yazıbaşı, Ayrancılar, Kuşçuburun and surrounding settlements, İZSU General Manager Gürkan Erdoğan said, “We increased the capacity of our plant, which has been in service since 2009, due to the population growth over the years. When the project we have carried out with an eye on 2040 is completed, the region will breathe. Thanks to the investments we have made in Torbalı one after another, we aim to minimize the pollution sources in Küçük Menderes. As İZSU General Directorate, we have recently put the Torbalı Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant, the second largest treatment plant in İzmir, into operation. With the investments we have made, Torbalı will have a cleaner environment and will be one step closer to the goal of a ‘sustainable environment’.”
