Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç invited the people of Kayseri to the 15 World Snowmobile Championship to be held in Erciyes, Turkey's largest ski resort and the flagship of winter sports, on March 16-2025, 2025. The competition and excitement of the championship, which Erciyes will host for the second time, will be followed in 86 countries.
While the investments of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality under the management of Mayor Büyükkılıç towards Erciyes, the favorite of winter tourism in the city, continue without slowing down, the giant sports organizations in Erciyes, which is aimed to become the center of sports and tourism 12 months of the year, continue to be breathtaking and continue to make Kayseri, specifically Erciyes, the center of attention in the world.
In this context, the FIM World Snowmobile Championship (SNX) will be held at Kayseri Erciyes Ski Resort on 15-16 March 2025.
Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç evaluated the 2024-2025 winter season and championship at Erciyes Ski Resort. Mayor Büyükkılıç said, “Erciyes is one of Turkey's most important values, we are ambitious as a ski resort. Of course, we continue to move forward with studies that will substantiate our claim.”

Büyükkılıç, who emphasized that Erciyes Ski Center is a ski center above the standards with its easy access, safe environment, 19 mechanical facilities, 41 ski slopes, 112 kilometers of track length, said, “We are trying to both introduce this ski center and make our city known internationally by hosting various competitions. We are expecting our fellow citizens of Kayseri to come here on March 15-16 to watch and share these beauties in such a beautiful organization that we believe is important and meaningful and that will introduce both our country and our city.”
Over 2 Million Visitors to the Flagship of Tourism
President Büyükkılıç stated that Erciyes Ski Resort is full to the brim and said, “We have had over 2 million visitors so far. With its diversity coming from both domestic and foreign countries, it continues to make a great contribution to Kayseri economically, with an approach that makes us all proud.”
Thanking those who contributed to the championship, Büyükkılıç said, “I would like to thank our Federation for their contributions and efforts in the snowmobile race and our sponsor companies here. Likewise, as Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and its team, I would like to thank our municipality for these services managed and carried out from a single source, and our team for sharing this beauty with a sense of responsibility, and I wish it good luck.”
Mayor Büyükkılıç added that they wished the season to be extended with the snowfalls and said, “We are carrying out these works professionally, in order to bring our city to the place it deserves and to ensure that Erciyes reaches the point it deserves.”
The FIM World Snowmobile Championship (SNX), which will be held for the second time in Erciyes, will be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Kayseri Governorship, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Kayseri Erciyes Inc., as well as the World Motorcycle Federation (FIM), Spor Toto and the Turkish Motorcycle Federation.
