
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) continues to add value to Ordu Street, one of the most important axes of the Historical Peninsula. Within the scope of the Ordu Street and Surroundings Pedestrianization Project, a viewing terrace is being built on the Aksaray Square Bridge. Aksaray, which will be renewed with its green areas and urban furniture, will become a resting and meeting area.
Due to studies T1 Kabataş-Aksaray station of the Bağcılar tram line, Kabataş will be closed to business as of February 16. Other stops and Bağcılar direction will not be affected by this work.
IMM is implementing a new project within the scope of the pedestrianization and prestige street transformation works of Ordu Avenue. Aksaray Square Bridge, which will be equipped with green areas and seating areas, will gain a new function.
DESIGN SUITABLE FOR HISTORICAL TEXTURE
Within the scope of pedestrianization works on Ordu Street, IMM will build a viewing terrace on Aksaray Square Bridge. As part of the works, seating elements suitable for the historical texture will be placed in the area. In addition, the area will be transformed into a resting and meeting area by providing green space.
AKSARAY STATION WILL BE BYPASSED IN THE DIRECTION OF KABATAŞ
Within the scope of the project, T1 Kabataş-Transportation arrangements will be made on the Bağcılar tram line. Starting from February 16, Aksaray station will be closed during the works. Kabataş The platform in the direction will be closed to business until March 15. However, other stops and the Bağcılar direction will not be affected by the work.
