
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that a total of 1 billion 208 million liras worth of Social and Economic Support (SED) payments were deposited into accounts for February to support children socially and meet their education expenses.
Minister Göktaş stated in his statement that they attach special importance to services for children and diversify their services by taking into account the different needs of children.
Minister Göktaş stated that they support children with SED, together with their families and within their social environment, and that they work with all their might to ensure that children grow up as self-confident, educated and healthy individuals with national values.
Minister Göktaş, who stated that they are making efforts to ensure that children grow up with the affection and warmth of their families with family-oriented social service models, stated that the economic support amount per child in the SED service increased to an average of 7 liras with the new regulation in the January civil servant salary coefficient, and said, “We deposited a total of 94 billion 1 million liras of SED payment into accounts for February to support children socially and meet their education expenses.”
With Social Economic Support, families and children are strengthened through psychosocial support services and sporting, cultural, academic and social activities are carried out for children.
