Erkunt Tractor Received Full Marks at Agroexpo Fair

Erkunt Tractor, one of Turkey's leading manufacturers, received full marks from the Aegean farmers it met at the 20th Agroexpo International Agriculture and Livestock Fair held in Gaziemir Fuar İzmir.

Erkunt Tractor Domestic Sales and Marketing Manager Yiğit Kosova stated that they use Euro 5 engines that comply with European Union norms in all Erkunt models and that the tractors attract attention with their environmentally friendly features and performance.

Kosova said, “The process of adapting to Euro 93 engines, which reduce harmful exhaust gases mixed into the air by 5 percent, actually started in 2021. We first started production in 3D and Euro 4 engine types with e Capra engines. When Euro 5 engines became standard, we shaped our R&D and production in this direction. Processes such as the integration of this engine into the tractor and performance tests also took time. As of January 01, we started selling our Euro 5 engine tractors. In addition to 55 to 75 horsepower tractors at the fair, we are exhibiting different models up to 95 horsepower in the fruit series. We are pleased with the interest we have seen.”

MODELS SUITABLE FOR THE AEGEAN REGION

Expressing that they are pleased to exhibit their newest products that comply with Turkish emission norms in the Aegean Region, one of the most important production areas of horticulture, Yiğit Kosova continued his words as follows: “With the pride of successfully completing the Phase 2024 emission transition process that started in 5, we met with the participants with our Aegean-specific products at the İzmir Agriculture Fair organized for the 20th time this year. Among our products exhibited at the fair, there are also our Meyveci Series models, which are now a member of the Aegean. We are at the fairgrounds with Meyveci models that have a wide and ergonomic platform structure, which both have a creeper gear option and increase the tractor's power when desired with the Boost mode, and domestically produced Euro5 eCapra and Deutz engines.”

EURO 5 ENGINE DRAWS ATTENTION WITH ITS PERFORMANCE

Noting that new models were appreciated at the agricultural fair this year, Kosova said the following: “Our low horsepower Misket 26B garden model, which we launched at the Izmir fair last year, quickly became the new favorite of Aegean farmers with its unrivaled and superior performance. We introduced the model with hydraulic precision and a wide platform structure to Aegean farmers this year as well. Our E+ Series models, which consider the comfort of farmers in the field with a rear-view camera, have 24 forward and 24 reverse creeper gears, an air compressor system and 6 hydraulic outputs with 75 and 105 horsepower, are equipped with Deutz engines, and our Luxury Series models, which are one step ahead with the Boost mode feature, have high hydraulic lifting capacity and hydraulic middle and side arms, air-conditioned, ergonomic and wide-angle cabins, are waiting for our farmers at the fair with eCapra engines.”
