Corn Silage Support Continues District by District in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to distribute the corn silage produced at BAKAP, Turkey's largest agricultural campus, to each district.

1095 tons of corn silage produced by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department teams at BAKAP Agricultural Campus is distributed to animal producers under the age of 100 with a 42 percent grant.

Nallıhan Mayor Ertunç Güngör, who attended the corn silage distribution in Nallıhan, said:

“We believe that we will do everything necessary together with our President Mansur for the development of rural areas on farming and animal husbandry. Together with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we will provide the necessary support to our farmers and producers living in rural areas in the best way possible. Hopefully, these places will become production centers. We are working for this. Providing this type of aid in addition to social aid is very valuable for us and the people living here. The people here want to do this production, they are all enthusiastic. Hopefully, much better things will come out in the following projects. We know the problems in Turkey very well. President Mansur is familiar with all of them. Since he is very familiar with the problems experienced especially in rural areas and metropolitan cities, we are also doing the necessary work under the leadership of our President Mansur to serve our country, develop our producers and contribute to our country’s economy.”

The Mayors of Ayaş and Güdül, who participated in the corn silage distribution initiated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for animal producers and distributed with a 100% grant, also made a statement.

Ayaş Mayor İzzet Demircioğlu said, ''Ankara Metropolitan Municipality distributes corn silage grown in BAKAP to our producers under the age of 42 free of charge with 100% grant. I wish good luck and abundance to our producers. With the rural support initiated by our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mr. Mansur Yavaş, our producers are both producing and the local economy is developing. We would like to express our endless gratitude to him for this. We will be giving approximately 15 tons of corn silage to 33,5 farmers here, may it bring good luck and abundance.''

Güdül Mayor Mehmet Doğanay said, ''We are bringing together the corn silage produced in the BAKAP Facilities of our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality with our Güdül producers. In the project carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality, we are distributing corn silage to our producers under the age of 42 who are engaged in animal husbandry. We would like to thank our Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, Mr. Mansur Yavaş, who has always been by our producers' side in this difficult situation and supported rural development. With the rural support of our Metropolitan Municipality, we are increasing efficiency, reducing costs and supporting sustainable production.''

The importance that our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş and District Mayor Yakup Odabaşı give to agriculture in our district is admirable. Therefore, we would like to thank them endlessly for their contributions to our district, which we dream of as an agricultural city. I hope that this distribution will be beneficial to our district and our producers.”
