The area, which has become a new attraction point for those who want to get away from the noise of the city and spend a day in touch with nature, has become crowded with citizens, especially on weekends.
THANKS TO PRESIDENT GULER FROM CITIZENS
Uluvahta Pond, one of the ponds built in Ordu to increase water storage capacity, provide irrigation for agriculture, provide drinking water to the regions and for tourism purposes, was built on an area of 21 thousand square meters. The pond, which brings a new recreation area to the region with a lake surface of 17 thousand square meters, stores approximately 33 thousand cubic meters of water.
The pond, which also serves in agricultural irrigation and animal husbandry, has changed the silhouette of the plateau. The lake area is filled with citizens who want to enjoy nature. Citizens pointed out that the pond adds life to plateau tourism and thanked Mayor Güler and his team for implementing this service.
