
Taking into account the increasing input costs, the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has made adjustments to the prices of bread produced by the Halk Ekmek Factory. 210 grams of Halk Ekmek will be offered for sale for 20 TL as of Monday, January 8. Bread is sold for 12,5 TL throughout Izmir.
In order to provide healthy and cheap bread to citizens, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has made adjustments to the prices of breads produced by Halk Ekmek Factory affiliated to Grand Plaza Gıda Turizm AŞ. Halk Ekmek has reduced the price of 210 grams of bread to 8 TL due to the increasing input costs in the economic conditions of the country. While protecting the budget of citizens, Halk Ekmek will once again offer the cheapest bread in Izmir for sale in line with its goal of providing Izmir residents with hygienic and healthy bread. 200 grams of bread is sold for 12,5 TL throughout the city.
Cheap and healthy bread
The price of Public Bread, which was 7 TL last year, was reduced to 5 TL immediately after Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Cemil Tugay took office, and the Metropolitan Municipality continued to keep the price of bread at 9 TL for more than 5 months.
New price list
Every day, 120 thousand loaves of bread produced without being touched by human hands are delivered to the tables of citizens through 109 Halk Ekmek sales points. 210 grams of regular and whole wheat bread produced at the Halk Ekmek Factory will be sold for 8 lira, 450 grams of whole wheat and rye bread for 30 lira, 450 grams of gluten-free (phenylketonuria) bread for 35 lira, and 1 kilogram of karakılçık bread for 75 lira.
