TEKNOFEST, the world's largest technology and aviation festival that brings together hundreds of thousands of young people with science and technology projects every year, will be held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for the first time this year. The TEKNOFEST information meeting organized for the students of Near East Primary School and Near East College was held at the Near East University Atatürk Culture and Congress Center. More than 500 students and teachers attended the meeting where Ömür Sayılı, one of the Science Lefkoşa authorities, provided information about TEKNOFEST. The students, who received information about the scope of the competitions and the details of the projects, gained great excitement and motivation on the way to participate in TEKNOFEST.
