
One of the important names in the Turkish television world, journalist and newsreader Deniz Arman, lost her battle with lung cancer. Arman, 63, had been receiving treatment in the hospital for two and a half months. Journalist Özay Erad shared the news on social media and announced Arman's loss as follows: "And another star from the media, another master pen, has slipped. The 'hourglass!' has stopped. We have lost a good person, a good journalist, a good Beşiktaş fan Deniz Arman."
Deniz Arman's Career Path
Deniz Arman was born in Ankara on May 2, 1961. He began his journalism career in 1985 as a reporter at Milliyet newspaper. In 1991, he moved to Show TV and began presenting news as an anchorman. Arman, who was transferred to Star TV in 1996, returned to Show TV in 1999 and also joined Akşam newspaper.
In 2000, she left Show TV and Akşam newspaper and moved to Habertürk TV. From there, she moved to Vatan newspaper and returned to Star TV in 2003. In 2005, she moved to Kanal D and became a weekend news presenter, but was dismissed in 2010. In 2012, she returned to Kanal D and became the Editor-in-Chief of News and left Kanal D News in 2014.
