Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş said, “We deposited a total of 3,1 billion liras of old age pension and disability pension into accounts, 2,5 billion liras of which are for the elderly and 5,6 billion liras for the disabled for January.”
Minister Göktaş stated in his statement that they have developed comprehensive and regular social assistance programs for the disabled and the elderly.
Minister Göktaş emphasized that they are by the side of the disabled and elderly in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that they can live independently as well as fully and effectively participate in social life, and said, “In this direction, we have deposited a total of 3,1 billion liras in old age pensions and disabled pensions, including 2,5 billion liras for January and 5,6 billion liras for disabled pensions. I hope that the payments will be beneficial to all our citizens.”
