Göztepe and Quarantine Piers to Open to Cruises as of Tomorrow

The Göztepe and Karantina piers, which were temporarily closed for renovation work, will reopen as of Friday, January 10. The work at the piers will be carried out in a way that will not disrupt ship services.

The Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Department temporarily closed the Göztepe and Karantina piers, some of which were worn out, in order to renovate them. Due to the high demand from citizens, it was decided to reopen the piers and carry out the renovation work in a way that would not disrupt ship voyages. The two piers will be back in service as of Friday, January 10. Ships, Karşıyaka-On the Üçkuyular-Göztepe-Karantina and Üçkuyular-Göztepe-Pasaport-Alsancak lines, services will continue within the scope of the previous tariff.
