The screenings of Star Wars, The Lion King and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring that we held in 2024 attracted great interest and appreciation. The Lord of the Rings in particular was watched by 12.000 people. We brought these works together with the audience both in indoor halls and in iconic venues such as the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theater.

"We offer a very comprehensive orchestration with instruments. In this way, we have the opportunity to introduce symphonic music to audiences who are not familiar with classical music."
Children Meet Symphonic Music
Particularly with productions aimed at children such as The Lion King, families and children are offered the opportunity to meet a symphony orchestra. “Many children will have the chance to listen to a symphony orchestra for the first time thanks to this concept,” says Cemil Demirok, emphasizing that the cultural and artistic impact of the event is very large.
New Projects and future perspective
Piu Entertainment plans to further expand its “Movies in Concert” series in 2025 with symphonic versions of beloved productions such as Marvel, Frozen, Gladiator, The Godfather and Home Alone. The company aims to reach a wider audience by bringing this unique concept to more cities. The works, which were staged only in Istanbul in 2024, will also meet the audience in Ankara in 2025, thus significantly expanding the reach of the events.
In addition, it is planned to further enrich the “Movies in Concert” concept with documentary projects and innovative content. Piu Entertainment Managing Partner Cemil Demirok says the following about the project: “With these projects, we aim to grow the Movies in Concert concept not only in Turkey but also in international markets such as Azerbaijan, Taiwan and Spain.”
