Bursa is Being Cleansed of Unauthorized Posters

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality detected and removed unauthorized posters on main arteries one by one as part of its efforts to make the city more aesthetic and livable.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its work on many issues from infrastructure to superstructure in Bursa, does not allow visual pollution in order to make the city cleaner and more aesthetic. According to the Advertisement and Advertising Implementation Regulation, it is forbidden to hang unauthorized posters in main arteries, squares and similar public areas; recently, non-compliance with these rules has become an aesthetic problem throughout the city. The Parks and Gardens Department Presidency Urban Aesthetics Branch Directorate teams, with the support of the Police Department Presidency teams, took action to detect and collect the unauthorized posters one by one.

The teams stated that penal action will be taken against individuals or institutions that hang posters contrary to the regulations, and that all costs related to the removal of the posters in question will be covered by the parties.

Requesting citizens and businesses to be sensitive about this issue, the Metropolitan Municipality teams asked them to report any individuals or institutions that hang unauthorized posters to the ALO 153 Solution Center.
