Muğla Metropolitan Municipality took its place at the 18th International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress held in Izmir. The Muğla stand in the fair area was met with great interest from both national and international tourism sector representatives.
The 18th International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress, which makes significant contributions to national and regional tourism, brought together professionals from the tourism sector in Izmir. The event, which opened its doors in Fuarizmir on December 5, also attracted great attention with the “1st TTI Health Health Tourism Fair” held for the first time this year.
Muğla's Unique Values Introduced
Continuing its efforts to promote Muğla and increase its tourism potential, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality opened a stand to promote Muğla and its 5 districts at the 7th International Tourism Trade Fair held between 2024-18 December 13.
Muğla Stand Attracted Great Attention at TTI İzmir
The Muğla stand at the fair was the center of attention for both national and international tourism sector representatives. The Muğla stand introduced the unique tourism values of the region and was highly appreciated by the participants.
Among the important names that visited the Muğla stand were the Deputy Chairman of the Republican People's Party Erhan Adem, former Muğla MP Nurettin Demir, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Muhittin Böcek, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Zafer Levent Yıldır were present.
TTI Izmir Prepared the Ground for New Collaborations in Tourism
While the organization prepares the ground for new collaborations in the tourism sector, it aims to introduce Turkey's tourism potential to a wider audience in the international arena.
The events organized within the scope of TTI İzmir Fair created sectoral awareness in different areas of tourism while strengthening Muğla's place in the international tourism scene with its natural, historical and cultural riches.

Stating that they take part in all national and international congresses and fairs with 13 districts of Muğla with the vision of World City Muğla, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Aras stated that they will continue their efforts to introduce and tell about the city they live in and to make it the capital of tourism. Mayor Aras said; “From Bodrum to Seydikemer, Muğla has a wide and special geography. We are working for sustainable tourism by spreading tourism to 12 months in Muğla, which is connected to the Aegean and Mediterranean with unique bays. We attach great importance to promotion, which is one of the most important legs of tourism. We tell the participants about Muğla with our stand that tells about our 13 districts in national and international fairs, congresses and events. We are working to make our World City Muğla the capital of tourism with its nature, history, culture, seas and many other features.”
