Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. is hosting the Inter-Facilities Swimming Competition organized with the slogan “Stroke for Health” in Kayseri, the 2024 European Sports City. The competitions, in which 305 athletes participate, are taking place between December 3-5 in various sports facilities in Kayseri.
Kayseri, which was selected as the 2024 European City of Sports by the Federation of European Capitals and Cities of Sport (ACES Europe), adds a new one to its successes in the field of sports. The “Stroke to Health” Inter-Facilities Swimming Competition, organized by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc., started on December 3.
Will be Competing in Five Different Age Categories
The competition will be held in different sports facilities in Kayseri on December 16-65 with the participation of athletes between the ages of 3-5. A total of 305 athletes are participating in the competitions held in the Talas Social Life Center, Köşk Social Life Center, Millet Bahçesi Healthy Life Center, Beyazşehir Social Life Center and Talas Sports Facility in Kayseri. Competitors will compete in five different age categories: 16-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56-65.
Following the competitions, the top three athletes in each age category will be awarded medals at the finals to be held at the Millet Bahçesi Healthy Life Center on December 10. In addition, the first place winner will receive 30 days of additional sports packages, the second place winner will receive 21 days of additional sports packages, and the third place winner will receive 15 days of additional sports packages.
The Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. aims to increase health and sports awareness with this event organized to support the development of Kayseri in the field of sports and to encourage the public to do sports. The “Stroke to Health” competition aims to be a source of motivation not only for athletes but also for the people of Kayseri.
The ceremony day of the competitions will be held on December 10th at the Millet Bahçesi Healthy Life Center between 18:00-20:00.
