Continuing its activities under the roof of Fethiye Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FTSO), Fethiye Health Tourism Platform will introduce Fethiye’s health tourism potential to the world at the London Health Tourism Expo 14 (International Health Tourism) fair to be held in London, the capital of England, on February 15-2025, 2025. Stating that they are among the world’s leading tourism destinations with their nature and history, FTSO Board Chairman Osman Çıralı said, “However, we also want to stand out in the world with our health institutions and health tourism, which have made great progress in recent years. We will introduce our health tourism potential to the world by ensuring that Fethiye is represented in 4 separate stands in London.”
The meeting held on December 4, 2024 at FTSO Meğri Hall under the presidency of FTSO Board Chairman Osman Çıralı was attended by FTSO Secretary General Ezgi Tugay, DOC Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic Manager Physician Dr. Özgür Yürük and General Coordinator Meral Çoban Alp, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Yiğit and Dentist Barış Özgür on behalf of Odia Clinics – Dr. Barış Yiğit Clinic, Private Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital International Hospital Center Coordinator Emel Kendirli, Dentoper Founding Partner and Prosthodontist Özge Aydoğ and Hospital Coordinator Sevinç İpek, Private Göcek Dent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic Dentist Meryem Güzel Cengiz and Likya Dent Oral and Dental Health Center Clinic Personnel Selin Arıkan.
The meeting discussed preparations for the London Health Tourism Expo 14 (International Health Tourism Fair) and the 'Health Tourism Cooperation Opportunities Conference' to be held for the 15nd time in London, England on February 2025-2, 2025. The participants, who emphasized that they were extremely pleased with the location of the stands and the interest of those who wanted to get information at the fair they attended for the first time last year, said that the need to promote Fethiye's health tourism potential all over the world had clearly emerged in their face-to-face meetings. The participants, who emphasized that they encountered very little information about Fethiye's health tourism potential abroad, agreed that they would see more benefits from the promotions to be made at London Health Tourism Expo 2025 in the coming years. At the end of the meeting, it was decided that 3 different institutions would have stands in addition to the Fethiye stand, and that Fethiye's health tourism potential would be promoted at 4 different stands at the fair.
Stating that they will participate in a very important fair in order to introduce Fethiye's health tourism potential to the world, FTSO Board Chairman Osman Çıralı said, "We have full faith that we will introduce our region and our country abroad more effectively with the unity we have created on this platform. We are among the most important destinations of world tourism with our nature and history. However, we also want to come to the forefront in the world with our health institutions and health tourism. The potential we have created in health tourism will be one of the most important legs of 12-month tourism in our region."
Adding that they do not hesitate to do their part for the promotion of Fethiye as FTSO, Chairman Çıralı said, “We participate in almost all of the international fairs to contribute not only to health tourism but also to all alternatives of regional tourism. We are also doing our best to introduce our regional tourism to the world with digital promotions. In order to tell the world about our health tourism potential, we will be present at the London Health Tourism Expo 2, which we participated in with 2025 stands last year, and this year with 4 stands.
