For example, Chinese electric car company BYD announced that it will invest $1 billion to establish a factory and R&D center in Manisa, Turkey.
It was reported that this factory, which will be put into service by 2026, will be able to produce 150 thousand vehicles per year and that the supply chain related to the factory will create 20 thousand employment positions. Manisa Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek said that BYD's establishment of a factory in Manisa will make a significant contribution to the city's economy and culture. Zeyrek also mentioned that 20 Chinese employees and their families will come to the region where approximately 2 thousand people will be employed. Zeyrek said in his statement, "I am trying to create new living spaces that include a Chinese street. We are talking about an area where approximately 500 thousand people will work. Subsidiary industries are starting to come here with it."

Speaking at the “Understanding China 2024 Conference,” Zhen Bijian, Director of the National Innovation and Development Strategy Research Institute of China, said that opening up to the outside world is a symbol of Chinese-style modernization, and that the economic separation policies that some Western countries want to implement on China do not have a major impact on China’s foreign trade. Zhen said that China will more seriously implement international trade rules in foreign trade and overseas investments.
