The Social Democrats have emerged as the leading party in the Baltic country's elections after more than 99 percent of the votes were counted.
"I think we will form a coalition with the other two left-wing parties," Social Democrats (SD) Leader Vilija Blinkeviciute said on Sunday evening after her party became the largest party.
SD won the election with 19,44 percent of the vote, while the Homeland Union received about 18 percent of the vote.
Protest party Nemunas Daggry remained at 15 percent.
About 52,1 percent of Lithuanian voters cast their ballots on Sunday, compared with 47,2 percent of voters in the election four years ago.
