Born in Serbia on December 5, 2000, Uros Trifunovic started playing basketball at BC Mega Bemax, one of the long-established clubs in his country. Trifunovic, who is also the son of Serbian coach Aleksandar Trifunovic, played the 2017-2018 season in Turkey with Pınar KarşıyakaTrifunovic, who won the gold medal with Serbia in the U2018 European Championship held in 18, averaged 30 points, 10 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 2.3 minutes per game in this tournament.
