Governor Baydaş stated that İyidere Logistics Port will be the fourth largest logistics port in Turkey when completed. This project will significantly increase Rize's logistics capacity and strengthen the Black Sea Region's role in national and international trade.

Governor Baydaş pointed out that there was corrosion on the floor of the Rize Governorship Government Office and therefore the building needed to be reconstructed. He stated that they conveyed this situation to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and that they planned to start a new government mansion project next year.
Detailed studies and official correspondence required for the new government mansion project have begun. Governor Baydaş stated that the project will take approximately two years and will make a great contribution to Rize's city services when completed. The details of the project will progress to include issues such as which units will be located in the building.
