
At the meeting held in Mardin OIZ, while evaluating the agenda items, the demands of Mardin OIZ regarding employment issues, projects, alternative new market areas and reducing transportation costs in exports were discussed.

Making a statement here, Governor Tuncay Akkoyun stated that Mardin OIZ operates at a 100 percent occupancy rate and noted that there is a heavy demand for the 2nd OIZ.
Governor Akkoyun; “In our Mardin Organized Industrial Zone, a total of 214 companies operate in Food, Weaving, Chemical Products and Cosmetics, Furniture and other branches. Around 6 thousand to 7 thousand people are employed here. Our Governorship, District Governorships and all our institutions have always supported the entrepreneurs who produce, provide employment and establish new enterprises in our country, and we continue to do so. We are working with all our strength to increase the services in Mardin and to ensure that our citizens have a happy life where they live. "Today, we came together with the Mardin OIZ Administration and our Entrepreneurs and listened to their demands and offers," he said.
In addition to Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, Deputy Governor Fatih Eroğlu, Artuklu District Governor Mesut Tabakcıoğlu, Industry and Technology Provincial Director Yılmaz Altındağ, Mardin Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Deputy Chairman Nasır Duyan, Board Members and Entrepreneurs' Board members attended the meeting.
After the Board of Directors meeting, Governor Akkoyun visited the Ceramic, Packaging and Weaving Factories operating in Mardin OIZ and received information from OSB Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Nasır Duyan and factory managers about the work of Mardin OIZ, which contributes greatly to the employment and production of Mardin.
