Transportation to Bursa during the Holidays

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality announced that urban public transportation and Bursaray lines will be free of charge between 15-19 June, with the aim of allowing citizens to visit comfortably and peacefully during Eid al-Adha. Making a statement on the subject, BURULAŞ General Manager Fahrettin Beşli reminded that the country will experience a 4-day holiday rush at the weekend and that transportation is of great importance in this process. Fahrettin Beşli said that they have taken precautions regarding cemetery visits, which will increase especially after the Eve of Eid, and said, “We have also taken some precautions to prevent any disruption in urban transportation during the holiday visits. More importantly, as Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, we provide free urban public transportation and rail system lines that carry standing passengers throughout the holiday. Free transportation will start from 16 on the morning of June 06.00 until 19 on the night of June 24.00, the last day of the holiday. While the people of Bursa travel free of charge, we will experience the excitement of reuniting them with their loved ones. Taking into account that the density will increase, we will organize more frequent flights on some lines. "The density will be monitored instantly at the Command Control Tracking Center and support vehicles will be provided to the routes where they are needed," he said.

Stating that they have taken the necessary precautions for intercity travels, Beşli said, “We will implement Saturday services in BUDO for those who prefer sea transportation. Saturday flights will be organized to relieve passenger density, 6 times from Mudanya and 6 times from Eminönü. We have significantly increased the number of BBBUS flights for our passengers going to Sabiha Gökçen Airport. If necessary, vehicle capacity will be increased to the maximum extent possible. Our car parks will be open throughout Bursa throughout the holiday. Our technical department and administrative units will be on duty to ensure that services are not disrupted. We tried to make the transportation and travel part easier so that the holiday can be experienced pleasantly and in accordance with its spirit. "I wish everyone a happy holiday," he said.
On the other hand, starting this weekend, Bursaray will provide uninterrupted transportation every night from Saturday to Sunday at 30-minute intervals until the morning. Urban buses will also operate on the BursaRay route at 00-minute intervals, starting at 15:30 from Emek, Kestel and Üniversitesi stations, on all days except Saturday, until 02:00.
