Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that Trabzon City Hospital was established on an area of 280 thousand square meters and that it will be one of the most important health centers in the Black Sea Region when completed, and added that in order to speed up transportation to the city hospital, which they aim to put into service before the end of 2025, Trabzon has 56 stations. He stated that they would introduce an internal rail system.

Stating that one of the most beautiful exemplary city hospitals all over Turkey is currently being built in Trabzon, Uraloğlu said, “Our Trabzon City Hospital, established on an area of 280 thousand square meters; A project that will strengthen the health infrastructure of our city. Our hospital has a bed capacity of 900; There will also be important health complexes such as burn treatment unit, nuclear medicine unit, radiotherapy area, diabetes unit, blood transfusion center, sleep laboratory and genetic laboratory. When Trabzon City Hospital is completed; It will be one of the most important health centers of the Black Sea Region. We aim to put our hospital into service before the end of 2025. At this point, we are particularly proud of building the connection roads of such an important health complex. In this context, as you know, we have implemented the light rail system project to accelerate transportation to our city hospital.” he said.
