Social Security Apprenticeship and Internship Insurance Victims Association President Beyhan Ünal, Dr. Sinan Ogan, who visited Kocaeli province together with the victims and members, paid special attention to the Apprentice and Intern Association and listened to the grievances from them.
Members stated that their families did not approve of them continuing their work as apprentices or in vocational high schools to learn a profession, and stated that children could be victimized in the future.
According to Oğan, with the law article 3308, apprentices and interns are protected from work accidents and occupational diseases during the periods they work, but despite working as colleagues in all kinds of business lines in the industries and factories where they actually work, they are subject to grievances related to retirement and old-age premiums in insurance entries made on e-government. It was reported that it happened.
While it was underlined during the visit that the citizens did not want their children to be victimized, Doctor Sinan Oğan expressed his support to the apprentices and trainees, saying that he would definitely focus on this issue and that he would definitely discuss it with the state authorities.
