The fire broke out in the area where OBASYA tents, a touristic resting place, were located in Ortaköy in the Yuntdağı region. Fire brigades affiliated with Manisa Metropolitan Municipality were alerted after receiving notice of the fire that started at noon. Firefighters started working hard together with the forest teams and took the fire under control, which was advancing towards the forest area. The fire, which affected the maquis area and oak trees, was completely extinguished and cooling efforts were started. Approximately 25 decares of land were damaged in the fire, the cause of which is not yet known.

On the other hand, the fire, which started next to the OBASYA tents in the touristic recreation area, was taken under control before it reached the tents, with the hard work of the Metropolitan Municipality Ottoman fire brigade groups, which are close to the region.
