
Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Vocational and Art Training Courses (KO-MEK) is implementing the home skills course this summer, as it was during the last summer holiday. Aiming to contribute to the social and cultural development of Kocaeli's youth, KO-MEK opens Housing Skills Workshops in different branches with the aim of continuing education in daily life. In the workshops, which will be held free of charge, young people will be taught Kitchen Skills, Clothing Skills, Personal Care Skills, Repair and Maintenance Techniques, Foreign Language, Music Concert, Photography, Coding, Jewelry Manufacturing (Keychains, Necklaces, Bracelets), Recycling, Mind Games. etc. Training will be provided in the branches.
With the Home Skills Workshop, we are already preparing our young people for situations that everyone may encounter in daily life. In the future, we aim for him to be able to stand on his own feet, repair the tap when it breaks, sew things up, feed himself, and at the same time have a hobby he loves. The pleasant and knowledgeable young people of the satisfied city Kocaeli will be the most equipped of tomorrow.
TRAININGS ARE BETWEEN 01-26 JULY
KO-MEK, which is one of the biggest brands in adult education in our country with its identity as People's University, will provide young generations with practical knowledge that will benefit them in daily life with the Residential Skills Workshop. Trainees between the ages of 10-16 will benefit from the workshop. Training will be given five days a week between July 01st and July 26th. Housing Skills Workshop will be implemented in 12 course centers in 40 districts.
