Keşan Municipality Police Chief Selahattin SinalıHe gave information about the measures taken by the municipality for Eid al-Adha and stated that they were ready for the Eid.

Selahattin Sınalı stated that the rules determined for the purpose of Eid al-Adha will be strictly applied so that citizens can have a peaceful holiday and protect the environment, and gave information about the issues that need to be taken into consideration and said: “Cattle parts are prohibited except for the municipal slaughterhouse. These animals can only be slaughtered in authorized slaughterhouses. In the section of small cattle, sacrificial animal sacrifice is strictly prohibited in the middle of the street, public parks and gardens, avenues and alleys, and all public areas. Our citizens can slaughter their small cattle in their own gardens, closed garages and other suitable areas. Our citizens who do not have a suitable area for slaughter can also have their sacrifices slaughtered for a price in the closed area created by Keşan Commodity Exchange in the slaughterhouse. Regarding the disposal of waste, the waste of slaughtered sheep sacrifices will not be thrown into garbage containers or public areas; instead, they will be buried in a pit 1 meter wide and 80 centimeters deep, inaccessible to stray animals. "While the blood of the sacrificial animals is being cleaned, we warn our citizens that the cleaning water should not be poured onto the streets and that the cleaning process should be carried out in a way that does not pollute the environment."

Sınalı concluded his statement as follows: “Following the rules will both ensure that the holiday is spent in peace and protect the environment. "We kindly ask all our citizens to comply with the rules and wish them a happy holiday."
