Public Employees Are Waiting for the Answer to This Question!

Democratic Health Union Chairman Togan Demircan addressed the managers of the authorized union and said, “How many times more salary do you receive than the civil servant you represent? "Public employees are waiting for answers to these questions," he said.
Demircan made the following statements in his statement: "When the two percent threshold application, which was recently implemented by the authorized confederation with an anti-democratic practice for the unions, was annulled by the Constitutional Court, the authorized confederation representative again went beyond his limits and said, "The Constitutional Court should be closed." Those who declared yesterday that the Constitutional Court should be closed, today say that the cancellation of collective bargaining gains such as "protective clothing aid, personnel shuttle service, using the market price as a basis for housing rent increases, etc." within the scope of austerity measures is against the Constitution, and you say we will go to the ILO. So you will go to ILO and complain about the government, right? You know, you were a local and national union? Didn't the ILO reject your application for membership, stating that you were a "yellow union"? Where was your mind when you did not accept the government's offer of a progressive raise because the one percent and two percent threshold practices were in your favor? We've said it before and we'll say it again. "You have made civil servants and retirees dependent on pennies by spending time at the collective bargaining table with nonsense such as seating arrangements and solidarity dues."

Democratic Health Union Chairman Togan Demircan addressed the executives of the authorized union.

Do You Have That Heart?
“Today, you confirm this determination in your own statements. You state that the civil servants have lost their faith in collective bargaining and the law. Yes, unfortunately, this is the case and you are the architect of this. If you did not act like a union and made statements like a cabinet member during every collective agreement period, this sad end would be inevitable and it happened. What you call a collective agreement bonus is 199 lira, people would be ashamed to call it a bonus. The aim of a union is to ensure that the existing financial and social rights of public servants are protected and developed. As an authorized union, you can neither protect nor improve them. Your discourse of "From penny unionism to stance unionism" has turned into penny unionism. When will you announce your salaries and other financial rights? If the unions you represented last Ramadan Eid paid you Eid bonus, how much Eid bonus will you receive next Eid al-Adha? How many times more salary do you receive than the officer you represent? Public employees are waiting for answers to these questions. On top of all this, you threaten the political power, which is the sole reason why you are an authorized confederation today, and state that "if they do not recognize you, you will not recognize them at all". I wonder if you have that heart?
I am calling out to the Representatives of Labor Unions…
“Our call will be to workers' union representatives. A few days ago, a report was kept against a working class union representative in an institution. The content of the report is summarized as follows: "Thanks to us, you get more salary than a nurse, you get more on-call pay than a doctor, thanks to us, you are a primary school graduate, you get a job without KPSS, thanks to us" he expresses these statements boldly. It is essential for union representatives to stay away from statements that would disrupt labor peace. It is even more essential that he be knowledgeable and polite. It is not a matter of ridicule for union representatives that the system oppresses professionals. We reject the cynical examples of these people, who are called "unqualified" in the public or private sector, based on the shift fee of a physician friend or the education and salary of a nurse friend of ours, and we ask them to come to their senses. "I recommend the relevant organs of the unions to which these types of people belong to provide in-service training to their representatives, especially on rules of courtesy and ethical rules."
