Additionally, it is stated that slaughtering processes should be carried out by competent persons in accordance with hygiene rules.
Authorities of Izmir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry warn citizens to buy their sacrificial animals only from authorized and inspected sales points. It is stated that the controls will continue uninterruptedly throughout Eid al-Adha and that citizens should apply to our Provincial and District Directorates regarding any negative situations they may encounter.
Authorities state that they have taken all precautions so that citizens can spend the holiday in peace and fulfill their religious obligations in healthy conditions, and emphasize that the controls will be continued with determination.
