Islam Manafov Piano Recital Meets Art Lovers

The İslam Manafov piano recital, which took place at the Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality Art and Culture Palace, was greatly appreciated by art lovers.

Islam Manafov, whose performances were described as "genius" by music critics, achieved many successes with the concerts he gave. His project titled "Journey to Music with Children and Young People", which he wrote and directed in 1988, received great appreciation from the music circles. Manafov aimed to bring children and young people closer to art in these narrative concerts. In its review of the album published by Pizzicato magazine, İslam Manafov, who also masterfully performed the works of F. Chopin, wrote "Chopin: Balladen, Scherzi & Nocturne, Op. Posth” gave the album five stars. Oliver Fraenzke called Manafov's interpretation of Chopin “excellent and completely original.”

In the recital, K. Karayev, JS Bach-F. Busoni, F. Chopin, M. Glinka-M. Islam Manafov, who included the works of valuable composers such as Balakirev, gave the audience unforgettable moments. The peace messages he gave before performing S. Prokofiev's Sonata no.7, op.83 and the information he gave about the writing process of the work and the composer were appreciated by the audience. He performed M. Musorgski's work "Paintings from an Exhibition" while giving information about the work to the audience. Islam Manafov, who received great applause at the end of the recital, did not disappoint the audience and came back on stage and performed an encore. After the plaque presentation, he left the stage with applause.
