
Gölcük Municipality made extensive preparations and took all necessary precautions before the holy Eid al-Adha. Environmental Protection Control Directorate, Technical Affairs Directorate and Police Department groups worked hard to protect the environment and prevent the pollution of the streams. Within the scope of the studies; While the mosque courtyards were washed by the Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams, the Parks and Gardens Directorate teams completed the cleaning work in the cemeteries. While special blood and manure pits were opened for 108 businesses that sell and share sacrificial cattle and sheep, the aim was to prevent possible environmental pollution by opening waste pits in 15 large locations in different parts of the district.
Mayor Ali Yıldırım Sezer held a comprehensive meeting with all unit managers to ensure that Eid al-Adha goes smoothly. At the meeting, the measures to be taken and the work to be done during the holiday were discussed in detail.
THE TEAMS ARE ON DUTY DURING THE FESTIVAL
Gölcük Municipality teams will be on duty in full force to prevent all possible mishaps during Eid al-Adha. Cleaning groups will work to prevent sacrificial waste from causing environmental pollution. Environmental Protection Directorate teams will carry out disinfection work by spraying and liming the slaughter areas. Within the scope of the work, police teams will inspect the sacrificial slaughter areas and continue their controls to prevent slaughter outside the slaughter areas throughout the district.

Mayor Sezer, in his statement, said, “We are at the field with all our groups so that we can spend Eid al-Adha in a peaceful and clean environment. We have taken all necessary precautions to ensure that our citizens can perform their religious duties comfortably and to prevent environmental pollution. "Our checks will continue uninterrupted throughout the holiday," he said.

Regular inspections will be carried out to ensure that the areas where sacrifices are made are kept in hygienic conditions and that waste is disposed of appropriately.
