The Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many investments such as rail systems, new roads, intersections and public transportation in Kocaeli, continues its asphalt renewal works in all regions of the city to make the existing roads healthier. The Metropolitan Municipality, which carries out its work day and night without disrupting traffic, completed the superstructure renovation work in one of Gebze's valuable locations and put it at the service of the citizens.
SAFE AND COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION
Department of Technical Affairs groups renewed the deformed 2,6 kilometer long road of Kuruçeşme Street in Gebze Kargalı District. Thus, asphalt paving work was completed on the road from Kargalı District to Duraklı, Ahatlı, Atikler, Tepemanayır and Şile, creating a safe and comfortable transportation opportunity. Within the scope of the work, the teams removed the old asphalt with 25 centimeters of trimer excavation and used 7 thousand 400 tons of binder and 3 thousand tons of worn asphalt on Kargalı District Kuruçeşme Street, along with the laying of 500 thousand 2 tons of plant mix base layer.
