Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who visited Keles, Orhaneli, Büyükorhan and Harmancık municipalities within the scope of the strategic plan studies that will determine the road map of Bursa, said, “We must make smokeless industry dominant in this region. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Bozbey continues to work on the 2024-2029 strategic plan of the Metropolitan Municipality. Strategy meetings that will address Bursa as a whole continued in the mountain districts after İnegöl and Gemlik.
First visiting Keles Mayor Ali Doğru, Mayor Mustafa Bozbey exchanged ideas about the district's needs and the foreseen projects at the meeting attended by both municipality administrators. Examining the investments in the district and receiving information, Mayor Bozbey met with the citizens and chatted.
Mayor Bozbey then met with Orhaneli Mayor Ali Osman Tayır within the scope of strategic plan studies. At the meeting, where municipal administrators were also present, the needs of Orhaneli in the new period and planned projects were discussed. Meeting with the people of the district after the meeting, Mayor Bozbey also visited the staff at the Metropolitan Municipality Orhaneli fire station and wished them well.
After Keles and Orhaneli, Mayor Bozbey visited Büyükorhan Mayor Kamil Turhan in his office and exchanged ideas about the services planned to be provided in the district at the meeting with the administrators of both municipalities. Meeting with the people of the district after the meeting, Mayor Bozbey also examined the work done in the field.
Mayor Mustafa Bozbey, who recently visited Harmancık Mayor Haşim Ali Arıkan in the mountain districts, held discussions about the projects to be carried out together in the new period at the meeting where municipal bureaucrats were also present.
Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Bozbey said that they continued their district visits within the scope of strategy plan studies that will determine the future of the city. Stating that they visited the mountain districts one by one after İnegöl and Gemlik, Mayor Mustafa Bozbey said, “We visited Keles, Orhaneli, Büyükorhan and Harmancık districts and visited our mayor friends. In our meetings, we asked what they thought about the strategic plan. We know that the mountain region is very important for the city. We know that all four mountain counties have similar problems. We must make smokeless industry dominant in this region. We should expand areas such as geothermal and trekking and encourage tourism. We must create areas where young people and those who come to the region can have an enjoyable time. Our mayors also made requests in this direction. With the projects we will carry out, we aim to prevent migration and to attract more local and foreign tourists to the region. We will meet with our mayors again in the coming period. "We will see together that there will be a huge change in the mountain region in five years," he said.
