Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to increase the number of green areas where the people of the capital can breathe and be in touch with nature.
Çubuk 1 Dam Recreation Area, one of the first dams in the history of the Republic, 30 August Zafer Park, which remained idle for many years and was opened by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş after environmental arrangements were made, and Gazi Park, which offers a new generation recreation area concept, have become indispensable for picnickers and campers. Park Ankara (Hacıkadın Urban Forest) and Batıkent Recreation Area, built on a huge area of 431 thousand 600 square meters that has been idle for years in the Kentkoop District of Yenimahalle district, will host the people of Capital City who stay in Ankara during the 9-day Eid al-Adha holiday.
