Yaşar Doğu Pedestrian Overpass is Renewed

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has started work on the reconstruction of the Yaşar Doğu Pedestrian Overpass on the Adana Ring Road.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, in his statement on the subject, said that they attach great importance to the construction of pedestrian overpasses in order to increase pedestrian safety, along with bridge intersections and new roads to strengthen Konya's transportation infrastructure.

Mayor Altay stated that they started working to build a new pedestrian overpass instead of the Yaşar Doğu Pedestrian Overpass on the Adana Ring Road, which was severely damaged due to the crash of a crane-type vehicle, and said, “In this context, we will rebuild the Yaşar Doğu Pedestrian Overpass with a modern design.” we do. Our teams started disassembly work. Since the road will be closed and narrowed during the manufacturing works, traffic flow in the region will be controlled. Our pedestrian overpass, which will consist of steel construction and will also have a disabled elevator, will cost approximately 20 million lira. "May it be beneficial to our city," he said.
